We just completed a ho=
liday trip of seven days' duration. In that time, we drove 2289 mil=
es (3685 km) and traveled from Indiana to South Carolina and Florida. O=
ur daughter and her friend were able to go parasailing in South Carolina=
and we all enjoyed a little swimming in the St. Johns River in northern=
Florida. Also, we saw alligators.

Overall it was a fun time b=
ut we arrived home at 4 o'clock this morning after a long day of dri=
ving, just exhausted. And we arrived to find that squirrels had eaten t=
hrough the electrical power cable to our house, so we had to call the ut=
ility company to come out and service it. We didn't need that! For=
tunately, all is now well and we just have to rest up from the trip.
