[411] Robert Ewbank is a nephew to John Ewbank, Sr. of the Clock Story [Ewbank1]. Possibly encouraged by his uncles reports of success and available land, he emigrated to America, settling in Dearborn County, Indiana in the 1830's [Ewbank5]. He married in Dearborn County, and they moved afterwards to Clinton County, Indiana. They were founding members of the Michigantown Methodist Episcopal Church in Clinton County about the spring of 1837. Emigrated With my Father Family To America May 19th, 1830 After a voyage of Eight week we Landed at Queebeck. Then we Started For Indiana Got to Tanners Creek Dearborn County Indiana some time in agust The same year. Was Maried to Jane Clark Milburn June 19 1832 Came to Clinton County September 10 1836 Robert Ewbank Is my Name America is my nation.
