[3006] He states he lived in Allegheny County for the last 15 or 16 years on his Revolutionary War pension application, in 1833 (so he left Somerset County c1817/18) [Kondratieff].
[3008] May be confused with the Ludwig Cupp b. Oct. 12, 1759 in Northampton County [Kondratieff]. Note that Somerset County was formed in 1790, but the town existed beforehand. He shows up as "Ludiwick Cap" in Bedford County in the 1790 census; as Ludwig Cupp in Somerset County in 1800; and as Ludwick Cope in Somerset County in 1810 [Allen, Kondratieff]. His linkage to Peter Cupp is uncertain (he could have been Peters brother), but he certainly matches in geography and chronology.
